Plant height is 120.4 cm, ear length is 26.2 cm, effective ear number per mu is 158,000 ears, total number of grains per ear is 201.4 grains, fruit setting rate is 80.6%, and thousand-grain weight is 26.1 grams. Resistance: The comprehensive index of rice blast in the past two years was 4.4 and 3.8 respectively, the highest level of ear neck blast loss rate is 5, moderately susceptible to rice blast, moderately susceptible to bacterial leaf blight, highly susceptible to brown planthoppers, medium heat resistance during heading period, and the main indicators of rice quality: whole polished rice rate is 69.6%, chalky grain rate is 10.5%, chalkiness is 1.7%, amylose content is 15.4%, gel consistency is 69.0 mm, length-width ratio is 3.2, reaching the second level of the agricultural industry’s “Edible Rice Variety Quality” standard.
Production performance
In 2016, it participated in the regional trial of the late-maturing group of medium-grained indica rice in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, with an average yield of 630.80 kg per mu, a 5.56% increase over the control Feng Liang You Si; in 2017, the trial was continued, with an average yield of 632.92 kg per mu, an 8.47% increase over the control Feng Liang You Si; the average yield of the two-year regional trial was 631.86 kg per mu, a 7.01% increase over the control Feng Liang You Si; in the 2017 production trial, the average yield was 613.32 kg per mu, a 5.32% increase over the control Feng Liang You Si.
Key points of cultivation technology
Sow seeds in time and cultivate strong seedlings. The suitable sowing period is from the end of April to mid-May, and the sowing amount per mu of seedling field is within 10 kg. Soak seeds with strong chloramine or prochloraz before sowing. 2. Transplant in time and plant enough basic seedlings. The suitable seedling age is about 30 days, and the longest is no more than 35 days. 15,000 to 20,000 holes are planted per mu, and 2 seedlings are planted in each hole, and about 100,000 basic seedlings are planted per mu. 3. Scientific fertilizer and water management to improve the quality of field seedlings. Apply enough base fertilizer, apply topdressing early, and apply ear fertilizer in time. Generally, 12 to 14 kg of pure nitrogen is applied per mu, and the ratio of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium is 1:0.5:1. It is suitable for one-season medium-season rice planting in the Yangtze River Basin rice-growing areas of Hubei Province (except Wuling Mountain Area), Hunan Province (except Wuling Mountain Area), Jiangxi Province, Anhui Province, Jiangsu Province, as well as the medium-season rice-growing areas of Zhejiang Province, the northern rice-growing areas of Fujian Province, and the southern rice-growing areas of Henan Province where rice blast is less likely to occur.
