Resistance: The comprehensive index of rice blast was 4.4 and 4.5 in the two years respectively, the highest level of ear neck blast loss rate is 5, white leaf blight is 7, brown planthopper is 9, and heat resistance at heading stage is 3; moderately susceptible to rice blast, white leaf blight, highly susceptible to brown planthopper, and strong heat resistance at heading stage. The main indicators of rice quality: head rice rate is 65.3%, chalkiness is 0.9%, amylose content is 16.1%, gel consistency is 75 mm, length-width ratio is 3.2, reaching the third level of the agricultural industry’s “Edible Rice Variety Quality” standard.

In 2017, it participated in the regional trial of late-maturing medium-grain indica rice in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, with an average yield of 616.44 kg per mu, a 5.63% increase over the control Feng Liang You Si; in 2018, the trial was continued, with an average yield of 662.81 kg per mu, a 6.38% increase over the control Feng Liang You Si; the average yield of the two-year regional trial was 639.62 kg per mu, a 6.00% increase over the control Feng Liang You Si; in the production trial in 2018, the average yield was 647.02 kg per mu, a 7.05% increase over the control Feng Liang You Si.
Key points of cultivation technology
Sow seeds in time and cultivate strong seedlings. The suitable sowing period is from the end of April to mid-May, and the sowing amount per mu of seedling field is within 12.5 kg. 2. Transplant in time and plant enough basic seedlings. The suitable seedling age is about 30 to 35 days. 15,000 to 18,000 holes are planted per mu, and 2 seedlings are planted in each hole, and about 80,000 to 100,000 basic seedlings are planted per mu. 3. It is suitable for planting as medium-season rice in the rice-growing areas of the Yangtze River Basin in Hubei Province (except Wuling Mountain Area), Hunan Province (except Wuling Mountain Area), Jiangxi Province, Anhui Province, and Jiangsu Province, as well as in the medium-season rice-growing areas in Zhejiang Province, the northern rice-growing areas in Fujian Province, and the southern rice-growing areas in Henan Province where rice blast is less likely to occur.
